The Territory has found that it has a compelling interest in providing benefits for married heterosexual couples in order to help them raise and educate their children to be good, productive and healthy citizens.  The Territory may indeed find that it has a compelling interest to extend (some of) those same benefits (probate, insurance, etc..) to other classes of people, but to do so based upon same-sex attraction is stupid.
