The 'Theology of the Body' is Pope John Paul II's vision of the whole human person - body, soul, and spirit. In his view, the body is capable of revealing answers regarding fundamental questions about us and our lives. This vision was presented by the Pope in a series of 129 lectures given by him during his Wednesday audiences in the Pope Paul VI Hall between September 1979 and November 1984.
